About us

Subir Kutir: An Assamese Cottage, is a family endeavour to provide an authentic Assamese feel stay to the guests. We, Tanmai Das and Geetapriya Das, look forward to welcome you to this cottage. This project was started with a concept of giving tourists visiting Assam the authentic feel of staying in an Assamese style cottage.

A One Room Cottage has a bed-room and a cozy sitting area with all in house amenities. A Balcony overlooking a garden adds a serene charm to the stay.

Room Size: 350 sq. ft.

In-house Amenities: Air Conditioned room, One Queen-size Bed, Closet, Kitchen Cabinet

Living Area: Smart TV with LED Display, Bamboo craft Furniture, Table Lamp

Kitchenette: Mini Fridge (cube), Electric Kettle and basic Crockeries

Bathroom Amenities: Attached bathroom with modern amenities and basic toiletry kit

Others: Wi-Fi, Power Backup, Free Parking for 1 vehicle

Services : This is a self-service cottage

Breakfast: In-house breakfast stock of milk (replaced daily), bread loaf (replaced daily), eggs, cereals, fruit basket (replaced daily), butter, jam

Dinner : Ethnic Assamese meal on request; at additional charges

The living area has a real assamese feel bamboo-craft furnishings with a contemporary touch. The furnishings include use of bamboo, tree trunk, brass metal, and cane indeed, relax the assamese way!
